Management

Wayne A. August – President & CEO

Mr. August is an accomplished executive with over 20+ years of management consulting experience, particularly in transportation mergers and acquisitions. He has successfully completed several consulting engagements and M&A transactions during his career. Most recently, he was President of Continental Rail Corp., a public start-up. Prior to that, Mr. August was with Patriot Rail Corp., a leading transportation company. Prior to Patriot Rail, Mr. August was with RailAmerica, Inc. for 10 years, where he led the M&A, Financial Planning and Investor Relations departments. Prior to RailAmerica, he served with Class I railroad CSX Corp. Mr. August holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Florida.
